Surging iron ore prices a ‘get out of jail free card’ for Morrison and Frydenberg

Accenture Managing Director Andrew Charlton says a recent surge in iron ore prices is a “get out of jail free card” for Scott Morrison and Josh Frydenberg. The price of iron ore has gone up 35 per cent to almost US$230 per tonne. “Iron ore is a big boost to Australian investors,” Mr Charlton told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “We’re also going to see tonight that it is a big boost for the budget.”
