Caramulla South
The Caramulla South DSO Project (Atlas 100%) is strategically located adjoining BHP Billiton's iron ore tenements, 19km to the east of the Jimblebar mine.
Caramulla South contains a low grade inferred resource of 13.8 million tonnes at 53.9% Fe. Further exploration work remains to be completed within the project area.
Ten Mile
The Ten Mile DSO Project, located 55km south of Newman and 10km from the Great Northern Highway, contains a substantial CID target up to 3km long and 400m wide. There is potential for additional upside beneath cover.
Rock chips from the project have returned values up to 58.5% Fe, with low to moderate contaminant levels. A gravity survey is planned for the area prior to drilling.
McCamey's South
The McCamey's South DSO project (100% Atlas) adjoins the 23.5km-long southern margin of BHP Billiton's McCamey's Monster mining lease, which includes the Jimblebar iron ore mine. The project contains 25 hectares of outcropping to sub-outcropping Marra Mamba formation to the north of the Jimblebar Range tenement package.
4 Marra Mamba Formation targets have been identified by mapping and rock chip sampling along the project trend, Watertank Hill, Sliver, Cracker and Wafer. Warwick Resources drilled 18 RC holes into Sliver and Watertank Hill in April 2009, as a result of which two mineralised target zones were identified. Further drilling is required to estimate the resource potential of these prospects.
