The Jigalong DSO Project is located 100km east of Newman. Atlas owns 100% of the iron rights to the project, acquired by Warwick Resources from Hannans Reward Ltd on 4 August 2009 prior to Warwick's merger with Atlas. Jigalong is potentially one of the larger projects in Atlas' Newman portfolio.

Jigalong consists of 9 exploration licences totalling 2,235km2. Early exploration RC drilling by Hannans Reward at the Mijimiji Prospect has confirmed the existence of high graded Marra Mamba BID mineralisation from depths of 50m below surface, grading up to 63% Fe (for details please refer to HNR ASX release dated 10 December 2008). The total strike length potential of the mineralisation is approximately 10km, located between the Robertson Range and Davidson Creek iron ore projects owned by Ferraus Limited, which have combined DSO resources of 166 million tonnes.

Based on existing drilling, the potential strike length of the mineralisation and results from drilling within the Marra Mamba geology on adjacent Ferraus projects, Atlas considers the Jigalong Project to have a DSO exploration target of between 50 to 100 million tonnes at 57 to 59% Fe.

Jigalong will be one of Atlas' first priorities for exploration in 2010. Initial work will include validation of earlier drilling and interpretation of gravity survey data to generate targets for ongoing drill campaigns.
